Volunteer opportunities involve service at FEFC, and also out in the larger community in and around Knoxville.
The purpose of this website is to help you get connected with one or more of these opportunities. Job Description:
The Stage/Production Manager will be responsible for making sure that everything is in order for Sunday morning services. They will make sure that those involved know the order of worship, make sure that questions get answered, and perform supportive tasks to help the morning run smoothly. The stage/production manager will have to be here at 7:45 am on their assigned mornings.

Job Description:
Arrive at church early and man the entrances and welcome stations. Hand out bulletins, greet visitors and show them around if necessary. Help people find a community group via the brochures at the information booth, etc…
You can serve once a month, or every week. It’s up to you. We need your smiling face!

Job Description:
Serve coffee, espresso, cappuccino, juice, and more from our coffee cart in the main lobby. We will train you to make the different beverages, and you might be doing some light cash handling.

Man your post at the Welcome Center and help visitors locate a community group, children’s ministries, etc… You might need to tell someone a little about our church, or refer them to someone who can.

This person will serve the Membership Ministry by being a support person for those in the membership pipelines. This will occur at times during and surrounding the Discover Fellowship Seminars and New-Member Sundays. It will also entail reaching out to those in the membership pipeline to encourage them toward process completion.

Job Description:
Will serve on a team in various career fields including:
1) Registration Tableography – In this exciting role you’ll help those who inquire or enroll at the registration tables between and after various Sunday services (10:30 – 11:00am and 12:30 – 1:00pm)
2) Culinary Support Artist – in this culinary support position you’ll enjoy serving up the Fellowship Meal on certain Wednesday nights AND cleaning up the after affects after class.
3) First Night Concierge – this role will call on your hospitality and administrative brilliance…or your kind hearted willingness to fake it…as you assist the staff in manning registration and sign-in tables, help people find the right (or wrong if you’ve got a sense of humor) rooms, etc. on first night of DU.

Greeters / Security help our guests feel welcome and keep our children safe by ensuring that our security policy is followed by anyone coming through the Children’s Ministry hallways. Greeters also serve by providing directions to those who need them.
